As the Thunderbirds would proudly attest, we are go.

Planning for the 2016 Amphorae conference is well underway, and it's getting exciting. The first call for papers is NOW OPEN, and will close at 5pm on the 11th March 2016, so go ahead and start sending us your abstracts and completed registration forms. On your registration form, we ask that you express your interest in attending the conference dinner, to be held on the final day of the conference. Make sure you check out our Local Info page for all the stuff you need to know about getting here and accomodation, but also various things to do while you're in Hobart. Of course, if you have any queries at all, send through an email to amphoraex@gmail.com, and we'll do our best to answer any questions you may have. We're amping up the social media presence this year too; you can find us on Facebook (as usual), but also on Twitter, Instagram, and of course this blog. All updates will be posted through these mediums, so make sure you find us to keep informed!

We will also be hosting a Classics quiz on the second day of the conference, so start thinking of some witty team names. More information on the quiz will be posted closer to the date :)
